Saffron is no longer a young puppy, although she has kept most of her happy puppy ways. In her second book, she talks about what it's like to be a bit older, and a bit more experienced, while making some interesting observations on life in the country and in the big city. She has developed her way of thinking, and is more sure of what she likes and what she doesn't like. She also talks about her strong affection for her owners; how much they love her, and how much she loves them. It all takes place in France, where they live, but Saffron can express herself perfectly well in English, and understands both langages. Which makes her a bit special. I fact, her first book is shortly being published in French. She has also moved into social media, and is part of a Cocker Spaniel Facebook group, as well as having her own Instagram account. She is a star in the making.
