Carole O'Reilly is Senior Lecturer in Media & Cultural Studies at the University of Salford. She obtained her MA in Art and Architectural History from University of Leeds and was awarded a PhD in History from Manchester Metropolitan University. Her research focuses on urban heritage and history. She has published in journals such as 'Landscape History' and 'Urban History' and her first book, 'The Greening of the City: Urban Parks and Public Leisure 1840-1939' was published in 2019.
